Have your boat ready before you make arrangements for launching by following the preparations steps below:
First, remember that you are responsible for the launch of your boat. You've probably heard this a few times ...we’re are not a marina; we’re a club, a do-it-yourself club. Marina yards, unlike our club yard, usually are built for moving boats around and have hard surfaces. HPYC is more like an old fashioned boatyard, an open field that is fine when dry, but can be a mud pit when wet. You are urged to think as a sailor, and plan ahead. Patience is the byword. Members run the lift equipment, and getting the fleet launched is a cooperative effort. We all help in some way, so once your boat is in, help your fellow members until the entire fleet is launched and always think about your safety and the safety of those who are helping you.
Since launching is governed by the tides it is important to follow a time honored system as follows:

Mark McNamara firstname.lastname@example.org 610-678-4168 (Limited availability due to Moorings commitment.)
If you are able, please mark on your hull the locations of your bulkheads so the operator knows where to place the lift straps. Slack or secure your forestay if necessary. If you have an outboard, have it in the raised position. Secure your rudder amid ship so it doesn't swing.
3. After your launch.
Pick up and stack your blocking, jack stands or cradle in such a way as to allow the mower to work through the area. Please remove old paint cans, trash and roll up the protective ground cover under your boat for reuse in the fall when your boat is set again.
If you have any questions or suggestions, contact your designated driver when you plan your launch.
Fair winds to all.
