The Friday night cookout drew a crowd as usual, Saturday the Pig Roast was perfect. The weather was beautiful, the food spectacular and plentiful.
Sunday morning was a breakfast surprise - Robert Williams up early manning the stove, turning out tomato and goat cheese omelets with bacon and biscuits for all.
After the race Sunday afternoon the leftovers were out for an encore. Who'd have thought the Friday night Salvadoran corn secret sauce would make spectacular turkey sandwiches?

After dropping a necessary clevis pin over the side, (yet another) trip to West Marine, some custom drill work with much appreciated help from Glenn, I finally got the sails up on Saturday. That's me reflected in the glasses, Goldie was asleep in the cockpit.
The weather was perfect. John Lawlor and Jim Bailey came along for my shakedown cruise. Nice to have their experience aboard while I was sorting things out.
We managed to get the Brazen Article on enough heel to launch all the not yet properly stowed stuff across the salon. Small price to pay (5 minute cleanup) for some fine sailing.
